Our day at Mt.Rushmore, we hiked the Presidential trail and checked out the cool place and information about our Shrine of Democracy. Did you know there is cave just above Mt.Rushmore called the Hall of Records? No treasures though like my kids were hoping to find.

Just visiting with Abraham Lincoln our 16th president of the United States. Morgan thought it was the real one. He asked " He is really still alive"?

This is us in the Jewels Cave. Just at the very end of the tour. We were 300 feet down below the earths surface and a cool 49 degrees. The 2nd largest Cave in the Nation.

Cameron, Dallin and Tanner my Nephew who came with us on our trip. We are in Custer, S.D. this is a monument in progress (50 years now) Crazy Horse who was an Indian Chief who fought in the Little Bighorn battle. The end product is Crazy Horse on is horse, I didn't get a picture of what the finished statue is suppose to look like.

The first night we got to Mt.Rushmore we went for the lighting ceremony. They spoke of each president and why they were chosen and then they turned the light on. We didn't stay for the firework the next day (July 3rd). There were suppose to be over 30,000 people there that day, so we skipped it and went the next day for our day tour.
